At the end of the 16th century monks built a brewery in St. Ulrich, where they produced delicous beer for themselves as well as for the local population.  After the monks left the village, the brewery was privatized and became a guesthouse.  That is when the story of today´s Bräuwirt begun.  Time has gone by, but the traditional charming character was preserved, and the friendly atmosphere makes the Bräuwirt a very special destination.
